CAD documentation, digital as-built drawings and 3D models

The documentation of measurements of finished constructions, confirmatory measurements, stacking out, etc. is an important part of surveying. This information is normally the (final) product of a working process. Only after it has been handed over to the customer, he can start working with it and thus profits from the whole project. As far as the documentation is concerned, it is important to illustrate and visualise the results of complex surveys. It is an investment for the future: plans, presentations and analysis documents are often stored even for years. Only an exact and clear documentation helps afterwards to identify and interpret the results of surveys, even after a longer period of time. Especially in case of breakdowns this stored information can be of great value. As it is also the case in other areas, three-dimensional presentation is becoming increasingly popular; e.g. in terms of digital terrain models (DTM) or 3D data of different CAD systems. For BKR this trend is nothing new: we have already been working for many years in the world of 3D; not only for quantity surveys but also for presentation and visualisation. Part of our services are in addition to topographic and inventory surveys, also control and special surveys, building measurements (according to DIN277), as-built surveys and – last but not least – 3D laser scans. For all those tasks BRK is using the CAD programs MicroStation with Speedikon from Bently as well as AutoCad, AutoCad Revit and AutoCad Civil 3D from Autodesk. For the handling of projects in road construction we are using the programs of AKG.
An important part in CAD documentation and one of our core competences is the creation of (3D) as-built drawings.

We support you as our customer already in the development of a data model for documentation of industrial plants, work drawings, landfills and line routes. You can also count on us if a data immigration of an analogue cartography into a digital as-built drawing project by specific demands is needed.
